Jon Alfuth was the winner of the Custer Award. Hailing from Eau Claire, WI, Jon is a 2nd year member of the Flügelhorn section and is majoring in Political Science.
A junior from Franklin, WI, Aaron Stoll was the winner of the Crazy Horse Custer Award. Aaron is in his 3rd year with the Wisconsin Band as a member of the euphonium section. Aaron is majoring in Business.
Megan Emery of Belleville, WI was the recipient of the PA Custer Award Megan is majoring in History and Russian and is a member of the mellophone section.
Sara Wilcox, a third year member from Wausau, WI, was the first winner of the Little Bighorn Award. Sara is the tuba section leader and is majoring in Legal Studies.
Abby Lohr was named the Most Valuable Percussionist by her peers in the percussion section. Abby is a fourth year cymbals player from Rochester, MN and is majoring in International Studies.
"Congratulations" to senior Charles Koch, who earned the Karl Strieby Award for 2007. Charles is from Viola, WI and is majoring in Atmospheric and Oceanic Science. He is a member of the trumpet section and Rank 25.
