Frank Furillo

Frank Furillo

Transplanted from the suburbs of Los Angeles, Frank Furillo has worked throughout the Midwest as a performer, most notably as the lead singer of Madison's Rousers who are planning a reunion show in September of 2001. Singing in a rock and roll band is only part of his various talents.

As a jazz singer, Frank has always had a fascination for things Frank. As in Sinatra. It was Mike Leckrone and the University of Wisconsin Varsity Band, which helped him fulfill a lifelong dream of singing Sinatra with 240 horns! It was also Mr. Leckrone who dressed Frank in a white tuxedo and put him onstage to sing Cab Calloway's classic "Minnie The Moocher."

You can occasionally hear Frank's voice in a number of Culver's advertisements, most notably the Shakes and Bacon campaign.

Frank is currently dabbling in an a capella gospel quartet doing Jubilee gospel from the 1920's and can also be found performing with a number of local artists. He has been recording and performing children's music with Ken Lonquist and other area folk musicians for the past 20 years.
