Jon Vriesacker

Jon Vriesacker attended the Berklee College of Music and received a Bachelor's Degree in Music from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Fluent in many musical styles, Jon is a member of the Madison Symphony Orchestra, has soloed with the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra, and toured Europe with the pop band Common Faces. He is also an active studio musician having recorded with Freddy Johnston, Willie Porter, and Garbage. He recently joined Johnny Gimble, Matt Glaser, and Johnny Frigo in a "Jazz Violin Summit" organized by Gunther Schuller.
